Most of my experience is within the warehousing and production industries, performing a variety of roles from picking, packing, loading/unloading, data input using MS Word and Excel and various in house software systems. I have been trained in the use of FLT Counterbalance, Reach and combi trucks and have been certified as a banksman, fire marshal and first aid trained. While I have achieved, to some degree, a certain level of success within this field of work, my main ambition would be to grow within a company, so I can fulfill my maximum potential to them and to myself. I have also learnt about and used pneumatic tools, hand tools, worked with various oils, lubricants and chemicals within PCB, heavy machinery, food and assembly environments. I would prefer a career change to the above or at least find a company willing to allow me to grow with them.I have also worked in and gained success in other fields of employment from sales, retail and hospitality. While working for Tesco Express I become team leader after a few months, taking on more responsible roles from till floats, cash counting, random searches, updating of employee training cards, conflict resolution and taking charge of shifts when there was neither a deputy or store manager around. 2 times while I was on shift the store passed it's audit check. After a few months of becoming team leader I was asked by my store manager to be the store rep for our store within the southern area ( I worked in Bristol ) which I accepted. This enabled me to take store queries and issues to senior management of the region, along with the other store reps from their respected stores, and likewise be able to communicate with the guys back at store to any upcoming changes which may affect the them. I felt in this role I was able to be myself a lot more as some of the staff would come to me for advice or to talk to if they were feeling below par.I have some sales skills from being a door to door canvasser for a few months, which greatly boosted my confidence, and from some admin roles at previous employment. Again this is something that I would like to improve on as I enjoyed being able to improvise on the spot and enjoyed achieving my own targets and bonuses. And lastly I have some bar work experience from being a team member at Pryzm nightclub. This was strictly a second job but one I greatly enjoyed. I made some great friends and again felt I could be myself.
