The second leader of the fraternity controls internal operations and sustainability. I challenged myself to fulfill the position ahead of hosting our 182nd convention, an event hosted every 30 years. All vice presidents are responsible for hosting an annual workweek at the start of the semester, but this one was different. I spearheaded the operations of restoring the lodge (our fraternity house) to pristine condition by co-leading a complete deck remodel with alumnus. This was constructed completely by the brotherhood during the two day period and extent of the semester.

The General Electric Power division has equipped me with skills to research, identify and quantify data to draw appropriate conclusions to determine placement in the marketplace. Additionally, any generalizations that can be made from the marketplace standpoint would be used to make future decisions and to develop strategies. This internship was to provide the full time engineers with the tools and knowledge through the creation of Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables, Presentations, and proper documentation. The internship also provided me with knowledge of GE's gas turbines and subsystems through online training and a visit to one of GE's largest power plants located in Greenville, SC.
