• Ensuring operators/staff carry out their duties as per the LeanWorx plan.• Compile Schedule Reports and NCR’s where and when necessary.• Ensure staff/operators comply with the standards (ISO 27001, BRC/IOP, FSC, APACS Security and ISO 9001) set out by the company including Health & Safety.• Ensure the Lean procedures are followed at all times.

• To lead, manage and develop the daily schedules and priorities, to ensure on-time deliveries/deadlines are met• To lead, manage and develop the business and the people• Create a positive culture• Ensure that any changes in legislation, working practices, products are adhered to and communicated effectively• Hold Weekly/Monthly Meetings to discuss Overall Performance, Health and Safety and Quality/Service issues• Frequent production meetings to ensure on time delivery, performance and production issues.• Monitor performance, lateness and absenteeism and “act upon” when/where necessary• Set goals and objectives for the various departments• Ensure production targets are carried out within budget• Involvement with improvement projects throughout the business ensuring that the focus is on moving the business forward.

• To manage the day to day engineering issues that arises from the production department and to provide technical support to maintain the smooth running of production as a priority.• The improvement of current production processes where necessary, identifying areas for continuous improvement.• To create, input and maintain all of the electronic data which includes drawings, Bill of Materials, Manuals, Assembly Procedures and Work Instructions into the computer management system.(EFACS) • To maintain the systems to ensure they comply with both ISO and CSA standards.• To ensure control to all implemented engineering changes in the production and test processes.• To ensure that risk assessments are carried out on all production related processes, tooling and test equipment.• Supporting new products from the design and development process and ensuring their smooth integration into production with maximum efficiency and minimal disruption.

• Maintenance Coordinator – To oversee the Planned/Unplanned Maintenance Tasks, Service Contracts.• Work Study Engineer.• Health & Safety duties – Create and maintain Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and HAV’s programme in Polishing Shop. • Programme Laser and Punch Machines – Cad Cam (Radan)• Programme Panel Bending machine (Salvagnini)• New Product Introduction – Take product from a Drawing to a Manufactured Part/Product. Includes using Mapics database to compile Bills of Material and obtain Product costs. • Continuous Cell Improvements maintained using Lean Management techniques.• Manufacturing and Assembly Support Engineering – support to Manufacturing and Assembly lines on all associated Day-to-Day activities.• Cost Reduction – Continuously find ways of reducing manufacturing/assembly costs without loss of build/product quality.• Take Products from Concept Stage through to their Production Stage. This involves getting estimates for jigs/fixtures and tooling, raising Capital Expenditures and compiling Methods of Assembly.• Ensure quality is met at the various stages of each process to ensure the Customer receives a quality product.
