Directly supervises employees in the public safety/security department including public safety work-study students. Plans, monitors, and evaluates activities the public safety department to ensure the safety of all company assets, employees, students, and guests. Promotes and ensures proper employee training and staff development. Assists in developing the annual operational budget. Responsible for monitoring campus fire alarm and the life safety systems. Law Enforcement Professional Advisor assigned to United States Army Unit to assist in mentoring, training, and advising the Afghanistan National Police with the necessary basic police, investigative techniques, and leadership skills to supervise the conduct of those officers under their control. DoD Secret Clearance.

Operation Enduring Freedom. Processed fingerprint evidence. Identify, collect, document and photograph both Overall and Latent fingerprint evidence.

Instructed classes on interviewing techniques, crime scene processing and evidence handling for the Federal Park Service Ranger Certification Course held at Acadia National Park in Maine.

Oversee and conduct criminal investigations. Supervised 20 employees both civilian and law enforcement. Maintained and created annual budget for the Police Department. Trained Law Enforcement Officers in Collection of Evidence, Interview, and Interrogation Techniques. Investigated Child Abuse cases, White Collar Crime, Rape and other serious crimes against people. Community policing to include School Security and Active Shooter Training. Coordinated the investigation of a multi-agency counterfeit case. Chairman of Law Enforcement Executive Committee. Member of Maine Chiefs of Police association.

Directly responsible for the supervision of the Latent Print, Firearms, Evidence Receiving, Photography and Clerk Typist Sections. Certified Crime Scene Analyst. Instructor for the Crime Scene Investigation classes at the Maine State Police Academy and Maine Criminal Justice Academy. Assisted in establishing the Maine State Police Evidence Response Team. September 2001: After the terrorist attack in New York, I assisted the FBI in processing Mohamed Atta's vehicle that was located at the Portland, Maine Jetport. I supervised a special Crime Scene Investigation Team that was assigned to the Maine State Attorney Generals' Office for all Police Involved Shootings in the State of Maine. Retired after twenty years of service.

Certified Law Enforcement Instructor for Maine Criminal Justice Academy. Investigated homicides, child abuse, rape, and other serious crimes against people. Supervised other Maine State Police Detectives in criminal investigations, executive security, evidence custody, interviewing/interrogation techniques, and investigative procedures. Routinely requested by other Criminal Investigation Divisions to assist them with processing murder victims at the State of Maine Medical Examiners' Office. Attended several National and International recognized Homicide Investigation classes.
