June 2014 - PresentWater Production Supervisor• Performs responsible supervisory work in water production maintenance and water production operations. • Assigns and directs a crew of 10 direct reports daily and a crew of 18 indirect reports frequently, in the repair and maintenance of buildings, structures, and mechanical equipment at the 65 MGD water treatment plant, water pumping stations, and other assigned facilities.• Directs the repair and maintenance of filters, clear wells, flocculators, clarifiers, piping, conveyors, compressors, sludge pumps, and related equipment. • Leads crews performing equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, HVAC, manual labor, and installation of new equipment at the water treatment plant, pumping stations, and other facilities. • Supervises the Pumping and Dewatering functions, directing staff and facility operations. • Prepares progress reports and maintains records on the conditions of the properties, tools, and equipment and orders replacements as necessary. • Coordinates a safety program, provides in-service safety training sessions, and instructs employees in safe work procedures and methods. Performs crew scheduling, performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and training. • Assists in giving input on yearly budget of 15 million dollars and helps plan for 5-year CIP equipment upgrades and replacements. • Utilize Oracle CMMS to assign and track maintenance activities. Purchase equipment and supplies through Infor computer purchasing system as well as credit card utilization.

Pumping Engineer/Control Room Operator• Responsible for the pumping of finished water to twelve communities served through seven reservoirs, fourteen towers and ten booster stations.• Perform SCADA and security monitoring for campus as well as remote sites.• Record and monitor automated pumping system applications to evaluate processes and adjust water levels, pressure, pumps being used chemical addition to the raw water supply.• Operate HVAC systems including electric pumps, aeration system, air compressors, vacuum pumps, generators, and other equipment at pumping stations or other work sites.• Perform water sampling and laboratory work such as bacteria or turbidity tests, adding reagents, and adjusting pumping activities.• Ability to prioritize work, meets deadlines, and train and guide others towards completion of tasks.• Proficient in the utilization of CMMS maintenance software and other preventive maintenance programs.

Assist in the operation of two iron and manganese removal water plants, one 22MGD and the other 9MGD. Perform maintenance on twenty one wells, six water towers and two booster stations. Responsible for the training and supervision of a new employee in the water plant, and a new employee in the field service department. Assisted in the supervision of seasonal part time employees as needed.Trouble shoot electrical problems with the sixteen sanitary and six storm water lift stations as needed. Perform CL2, FL2 and bacteriological testing on the distribution system. HVAC and boiler maintenance performed at both plants. Sewer jetting, hydrant repairs, locating, water meter repair, replace, water main breaks, snow plowing, inflow and infiltration monitoring, televising sewers, storm water pond maintenance, lift station repair, and extensive SCADA system knowledge.Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, internet explorer, and electronic calendar.Knowledgeable in OSHA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities included the inspection of aircraft and engine assemblies. Performed initial inspections to document write-ups and final inspections to verify technicians performed the work in accordance with company and FAA regulations, utilized the computer, and a variety of instruments to perform all aspects of the position, acted as a weekend Manager responsible for assignment delegation, work flow prioritization, ensuring OSHA safety standards were followed, and trainer and mentor for an eleven person crew.
