To further my understanding of the regulatory requirements of the financial services industry I arranged to undertake a work placement program with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Over 4 months I volunteered my time, and assisted with education and compliance projects within the Small Business Compliance and Deterrence team. During this time I was able to gain a better understanding of the responsibilities of financial services providers to ensure that the savings and investments of Australian consumers are well protected.

The Motorama Group is a values driven organisation that has supplied new and used motor vehicles to Brisbane for over 50 years. As a Manager I was required to undertake tasks such as;- Develop and implement business and marketing strategies;- Train and mentor staff to achieve operational goals;- Compile operational and financial reports for the Board of Directors;- Undertake further studies for continued professional development;- Provide recommendations to senior management regarding forward projections and inventory investment.- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular client contact and timely resolution of queries and concerns.
