• Commanded all of the Canadian Army in Western Canada, managing a diverse team of over 14,000 personnel with a $250 million operational budget; directly responsible for four major Army bases and dozens of Primary Reserve Armouries and training areas from Thunder Bay to Victoria, all organized into 9 direct report formations and units.• Responsible for all strategic human, material, and financial resource allocation decisions; ensured that all directed missions and tasks were accomplished within assigned timelines and standards. • Led all Canadian Armed Forces assistance to the Prairie provinces in dealing with an unprecedented level of domestic emergencies; commanded over 1000 personnel assigned to support Provincial emergency authorities during the 2023 Alberta Wildfires. • Validation authority responsible for confirming the readiness of over 4,000 soldiers who deployed to numerous overseas missions during the past two years; achieved and verified all individual and collective training standards for operational tasks.

• Led a multidisciplinary team of Canadians seconded to the US State Department and tasked to enhance military cooperation between Israeli and Palestinian security services; part of a multinational peace effort aimed at achieving the roadmap agreed to by both parties in the Oslo Accords.• Provided advice, mentorship, and assistance to the Palestinian Security HR, logistics, and communications branches; improved governance and decision making at all levels with a focus on increasing their capacity to conduct operations and ultimately assume greater responsibility for Palestinian controlled regions.• Engaged closely with the Israeli Central Command Operations branch and the Palestinian Ministry of the Interior as part of the West Bank Security Sector Reform initiative; sought to increase trust between both parties by building Palestinian capacity through senior leader development and training and equipping junior forces.

• Commanded the Army’s one specialist brigade, leading almost 2,000 personnel focused on intelligence, electronic warfare, long range radar, and unmanned aerial systems; led the initiative that saw the first deployment of a single integrated team bringing all these unique capabilities together in support of Canadian Armed Forces operations.
