Handle all SBA opportunities over $500,000 within New Jersey, New York City & BostonSelf-source and partner with 30 local/regional PNC Business Bankers, Healthcare Bankers, Regional Sales and Market Managers, Financial Advisors and branches to provide SBA lending solutions to existing clients and prospects. Consult with and provide technical expertise to internal partners and COI’s for all SBA loan programs including SBA 7a, 504, Express and Export Express programs for a variety of business from healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, retail, restaurants, local and national franchises, start-ups, expansions, real estate acquisitions, rehab and ground up construction. Provide individual SBA training for all new Business Bankers Create and lead workshops to reinforce credit and build/establish referral relationships Present to local and regional sales meetings of SBA success stories & recent closings Maintain and enhance existing relationships with regional SBA offices and local CDCs Attend and participate in NAGGL SOP training and seminarsManage the individual loan process from application through settlement with a high level of responsiveness and technical lending expertise, fully complying with SBA lending practices and bank credit practices Take the lead on all joint calls with business bankers and customers or prospects Prepare and analyze all credit presentations for formal loan submission Work with credit analysts and underwriters through all steps of approval and loan closing Communicate credit decisions to customers and negotiate specific terms andconditions for loans within parameters defined by internal bank credit policy and current SOP Assist with pricing exceptions to ensure competitiveness while maintaining bank’s profitability Manage weekly and monthly pipeline reports
