The goal is to oversee business development efforts, ensuring our broker partners have what they need to provide our products to their clients. This role also has a role in helping shape the future growth and success through hands-on interest and development of processes, policies and reporting that will benefit the organization long term. • Build, develop and manage a strong and efficient sales team to ensure the company meets and exceeds funding targets • Develop and champion a national growth strategy through recruiting, coaching, mentoring, goal setting, and performance management for Business Development Managers across the country• Ensure a high level of activity of Business Development Managers activities in the field by encouraging and participating actively in client meetings, marketing and social media campaigns or conferences• Build, develop and leverage broker channel relationships while helping the Business Development Managers navigate their national and local partnerships• Develop, document and share best practices for processes, including performance management activity and reporting requirements• Engage and contribute input to business development plans, coaching activities, personal development plans in order to achieve objectives Show less
