Managing backend services and apis plus writing code as a senior software engineer

Worked in b2b and other backend integrations in Java. Lead the team migrating MuleSoft applications to the Coke tech stack (including helping create a Mule XML to Java translator) to get off of the MuleSoft platform. Worked heavily in Azure and helped oversee the switch of many apps to Azure from AWS. Created a function deployer to match blobs placed by jenkins with functions and then to zip deploy to those functions. Created rest apis working with MySql, Firebase, Redis, and other third parties like JDE and SAP. Created Java to automate Jenkins plans updates. Did some front end javascript and html5 for reporting. Also have done some work in shell scripting and powershell. Used Azure Devops for agile.

June 2014 - November 2019: Worked in Mainframes using Cobol, JCL, etc. Wrote code for batch posting of transactions November 2019 -April 2021: Working in digital apis and web services using Java. Went through digital bootcamp at work for two weeks and then started working with the new team in a flex model for a few months before joining officially. I’ve also used Python in some Jenkins jobs and have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and agile methodologies (using Jira for project development)

Left for just a small break for an internship opportunity with Regions Financial. During my time here I fixed PC’s, SMART Products, Room Pro Products, and a variety of technology and I worked with active directory and various aspects of IT security, networking, and maintenance

This internship allowed me to further diversify my skills as a Systems Engineer on the mainframe using Assembler and FTP. I did important pushes updating auditing and other features and I helped merge technologies to use less physical resources.
