• Designed and managed CAPEX $250k project for construction of engineering test laboratory to create new products and perform cycle testing.• Designed control room for dust collector test loop to allow engineers to have a central place to store equipment and monitor all tests.• Worked with all third-party testing laboratories (UL, ETL, TUV, CSA) for new product testing and certification, designing products to meet all parts of the globe including CE Mark.• Maintain all Listings, certifications and documents for existing products.• Working with UL, ETL, CSA, CE, RoHS, and other compliance requirements for products.• Created test plans and reviewed test results for new products development testing.• Supervised the Product Development Laboratory and personnel.• Developed laboratory safety procedures improving safety of workers in the Engineering Laboratory.• Planned and managed the creation of a Product Development Laboratory for creation and testing of new products and analysis of customer equipment needs.• Created a CAPEX project budget for projects and managed projects through stage gate process to completion.• Managed CAPEX projects cost to adapt to unforeseen cost and maintain project cost to not overrun budget.• Designed all Industrial power and control panels for New and Existing electrical products meeting customer requirements along with national code and standards, creating BOM's, schematics, panel layouts and PLC code.• Apply all local and national codes such as NFPA 70 & 79, UL508A, and IEC standards based on applications of equipment in new and previous designs.• Design industrial control panels for Hazardous Locations, Class I,II Div 1,2 to meet NFPA 70 Chapter 5 and NFPA 496, creating schematics, panel layouts, and BOM's for Purge panels.• Conceptualize new control platforms for industrial control panels meeting national code & standards.• Worked with teams to conceptualize new electronic PCB for new equipment.
