I’ve enjoyed thirty eight years of almost every aspect in the petroleum industry. Most of my time in a control room environment. Starting in the refineries while training in UOP Process Technology and then jumping into the energy side with So Cal Edison. While with Edison, I helped in turning their fuel oil pipeline and storage facilities into a third party business. This is now owned and operated by Zenith Energy that stores, maintains, blends, and delivers various crudes and gas oils for all the major oil companies. I’ve trained operators both in the field and in the control rooms throughout the years. I love teaching, keeping the operators qualified, problem solving and keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. I work well with and have extensive knowledge of all regulatory agencies, maintenance and scheduling needs. I truly love the industry and people that support it. I am blessed that I have been able to retire younger than expected with Zenith Energy’s West Coast Terminals. I have taken by choice a year off to play, catch my breath and enjoy my wife, children and grandchildren before dedicating my time to another venture.
