As a Director of Technology at Lextant, it is my job to support and empower the research staff in the realm of technology. That may be support using software, hardware, custom built prototypes, and a myriad of other things that come up in the course of planning and executing a research study. Some of the things I do at Lextant are:-A/V operation support-Custom A/V solution development-Prototype management and support-Software management and support-Office System design and implementation-Technology Strategy-Live Event Production-Video Post ProductionFor me and my work, it’s not enough to find a neat solution, it has to be a solution that can be field tested and operates well under pressure and can deliver solid results. When doing research, it can be incredibly expensive to budgets and timelines to lose data. My goal is to never lose the data. Even if that means a little more work on the back end.
