• Manage the end to end Issue lifecycle for high rated or Audit followed issues. (Currently at 100% success rate for Issues going through the validations process being deemed successful.)• Drive weekly issue management calls and follow ups, working with business process owners, Issue Owners, and Corrective Action (CA) owners communicating updates/results, as well as monitoring Issue status in SHRP/JIRA.• Conduct monitoring routines with RML partners to ensure controls are effectively mitigating risk.• Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring control programs and corrective actions, that mitigate possible risks associated. • Design and implement solutions to support effective reporting and tracking of issues in order to update senior management and various committees.• Complete and maintain required Group Issue Management (GIM) documentation in the collection, preparation, and submission of program deliverables and activities.• Consults with key stakeholders to provide guidance on the development, implementation, and monitoring of Issue progress and status.• Provide Control Executives updates throughout the Tollgate process.• Work closely with Audit and IT&V to address all non-reportable observations when applicable.• Monitor and assess issue portfolio for any changes and impacts to Issues. Manage process for regulatory and policy changes and related requirements for Barclaycard US (BCUS) business. Partner with business process owners and control Leads to ensure BCUS is operating in control by adhering to regulatory and policy requirements.• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Barclays policies• Assist with the design, development, and deployment of the governance framework across BCUS• Identify, report, and escalate issues• Manage required policies, standards, and/or procedural frameworks• Ensure control environment is not compromised as a result of major change initiatives; consult with process and control owners to ensure adequate and effective design of controls• Respond to ad hoc and critical control and governance requests• BBDE Policies and Standards alignment with BI.

Responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and execution of complex transactions for a single site/business unit or smaller business unit(s), including research. Participating in the design, devlopment and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment. Managing projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature. Also responsible for all BKO, CVLC, Estate and non contact vendors procedures and controls.- Currently I support multiple line of business enhancements and audit issues through changes, procedural updates and providing evidence for necessary milestones. Helped with the TSYS conversion, hold queue requirements, complaint MRA and non contact vendor proceudre guide rollout.- Was an assigned leader in the Estate Recovery Unit managing 20 associates and three business control specialist while multi-tasking and effectively prioritzing tasks to manage daily workloads.- In charge of doing procedure validations for entire LOB. - Worked with developers to integrated a new settlement recovery system in the recovery space. Also worked with developers to ensure all defects were worked out from a LOB standpoint, and put together all process maps.- In charge of doing all Process and Control Testing for the Estate business.- Implemented UCRS and calling strategies to the Estate department, while making sure we are adhering to FDCPA regulations.
