This project involved:-Examining utility data from 30 tenants to establish an energy-use baseline and developing educational materials to promote energy-saving behaviors, saving 5,000 Btu/ft2 in the first six months.-Routinely reporting on the progress of four projects and applications of building science fundamentals to the building owner.-Devising strategies to reduce the building’s environmental impact beyond reducing carbon emissions, including contribution to eutrophication, urban heat island effect, and enriching pollinator habitat.
