I joined Dr. William Schneider's research group and studied the behavior of carbon monoxide on transition metal surfaces. In this research program I worked with many computational tools to acquire and analyze data including the Linux operating system, Univa Grid Engine, the Vienna Ab-initio Simulation Package, MATLAB, and Python.Highlights include:● Collected computational data in collaboration with experimental research group on the diffusion behavior of CO on Cu(1111)● Coauthored research paper in Physical Review Letters on CO diffusion behavior on Cu(111)● Presented research at the 24th North American Meeting of the Catalysis Society
