Responsible for underground exploration and drilling at two operating mines, exploration and targeting in and around previous underground operations on the Jerritt Canyon Property. Also responsible for ore-control procedures, RC and core drill planning related to extending the Life-of Mine. Duties include weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to operations and executive exploration staff, drill planning. supervision of drift mapping, rib sampling and their incorporation into the geologic models, and short- and long-term direction of geologic staff.

Responsible for near-mine and district exploration, geologic modeling, core and reverse-circulation drill planning for exploration and resource conversion, and junior staff mentoring. Discovered twelve mineable deposits in both the SSX and Smith mines that sustained and improved production to the Jerritt Canyon mill.

Supervised drilling of six water injection and monitoring wells. Completed chip logs, geologic descriptions, sectional interpretations, and GPS surveys of the hole collars.

Assisted with underground miner health sampling. Collected data and air quality samples from miners and recorded the results.

Assisted with Barrick's exploration of the Spring Valley project. Performed backlog diamond core logging, geologic interpretation on sections, and relogging of RC chips where needed.

Responsible for project drilling and project-scale geologic mapping. Position ended by a knee injury.

Directed mining contractor with regards to geology, ground conditions, and probable vein locations. Established industry-standard procedures and protocols with regards to RC drill logging and sampling, geologic mapping, vein sampling, and core logging and sampling procedures. Established first SQL database, implemented drill QA/QC, designed and supervised relogging program of 250,000 feet of historic core. Drilled surface core holes that established an initial strike-length and orientation of what would become the most strongly mineralized veins in the mine.

Planned and directed diamond core and RC drill programs from 2005-2009 at Spring Valley, Trained and directed junior staff and contract core and RC drill loggers and senior contract geologic mappers, . Completed initial digital geologic models of Spring Valley deposits in Surpac, Assisted transfer and editing of data into Barrick database as Barrick became the project operator. Directed drilling and mapping programs at the Pan Mine near Eureka, Nevada.

Conducted daily ore-control, heading checks, and geologic mapping. Planned and executed core and RC drilling programs, and supervised surface drill programs when needed. Provided geologic information on ground control to mine crews, and conducted daily ore-control on surface and underground through sampling. Reported on monthly production, drill programs and results, and evaluations of headings for forthcoming development. Published a paper on SSX Mine at a Geological Society of Nevada Symposium meeting in 2005.

Supervised multiple-drill surface drill programs and subsequent RC logging. Conduced exploration mapping in the south portion of the Jerritt district and developed drill targets. Migrated to underground mapping and core logging as surface programs were cut back.

Also conducted reconnaissance work in the Mojave region, Gabbs Valley Nevada, southwest Utah, north central Nevada, and southern Idaho. Planned and executed large-scale helicopter borne magnetic-radiometric geophysical surveys, and conducted follow-up field work. Employed on the Carlin Trend at Gold Quarry until 1997. Conducted mapping, sampling, and drilling at the Richmond Mountain, Rain-extension, and Emigrant project areas.

Worked on special projects for Kuparuk Extension Exploration, and Prudhoe Bay Exploration groups. Constructed regional isopach and structure-contour maps, and evaluated specific prospects for possible drilling.

Conducted project scale mapping on a molybdenum prospect in Montana, reconnaissance of tungsten prospects in Nevada, and claim-staking in California.

Performed geotechnical sampling on projects in Vernal and Ogden Utah.

Reviewed archived Company files for prospective precious metal properties. Participated in and supervised paleo-placer property evaluation and drilling in Oroville, California.

Provided geologic field support to a PhD mapping project in south-central Alaska.
