Mount Rainier National Park• Led a crew of 7 in monitoring northern spotted owl populations via callback surveys and bioacoustics.• Conducted white-nose syndrome surveillance in bat maternity roosts via capture and processing of up to 120 bats per night; led capture team when usual lead was absent; conducted radio telemetry on bats.• Constructed, maintained, and manipulated Access databases for several projects.• Produced field maps and maintained GIS dashboard for data communication.• Authored NEPA biological assessments and led ESA Section 7 consultations with USFWS.• Constructed, maintained, and manipulated Access databases for multiple streams of data.

National Wildlife Research Center• Prepared field and animal studies to assess pathogen transmission risk among wildlife, zoo animals, domestic animals, and humans and the development of methods to reduce or eliminate such transmission.• Authored IACUC and IBC protocols in support of wildlife disease research.• Analyzed quantitative and spatial data for wildlife disease studies via R programming and Microsoft Access.• Authored manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals and provided recommendations to wildlife managers.

• Managed 5 simultaneous endangered species monitoring projects; trained and supervised 17 technicians across 3 crews; liaised with business clients in BLM, USFS, and ODF.

Olympic National Park• Managed ground site receiving mountain goats from air-based capture team; coordinated veterinarian support; processed over 300 mountain goats for relocation to the Cascade Range.

USFS Sierra Nevada Carnivore Monitoring Program• Led a team of 16 technicians in monitoring of carnivore populations via camera traps and track plates.

USFS Pacific Southwest Research Station, Shaver Lake, CAKing's River Fisher Project• Developed, planned, and tested rigor of a novel camera survey protocol used to detect denning female fishers (Pekania pennanti); protocol went on to be incorporated into limited operating period policies in forest management plans in the National Forest System.
