As CEO I was appointed by and reported directly to the Board of Directors, and held the ultimate responsible for the management and operations of the Glenelg Football Club Inc. and the Glenelg Footballers Club Inc. Critical to this role was to stop the financial bleeding of both Clubs that had occurred in the previous few years, to repair and develop relationships with key stakeholders and to manage the stifling debt position that the Club had found themselves in.The main responsibility areas included:• Oversee all Football Club operations – from football department (players, coaches, support staff, junior programs, etc.) through to membership, sponsorship and community engagement• Developing and maintaining relationships and representations at SANFL/AFL level• Oversee Licensed Club operations • Financial management of the Consolidated Club operations• Preparation of financial statements and board reports• Oversee marketing of all aspects of the Club including public relations• Establish and maintain government and corporate relationships • Establish and maintain sound working relationships with all stakeholder groups• Maintain effective HR Policies and Procedures• Adhering to Good Governance and upkeep of Club history.CEO of a SANFL club is an all-encompassing role requiring passion not just for the role, but also the club and the sport. I spent three years on the board at the Eagles, where I really enjoyed giving something back to the club that gave me the opportunity to play league football. In my time the Board over saw a League Premiership in 2011, and U18's Premiership in 2012, the club be nationally recognised as the best developer of young football talent in Australia, and the development of the clubrooms into a first class Function Centre.I resigned from the Board in September 2013 due to a conflict of interest with a new employment opportunity.

I have also enjoyed assisting and working along side high net worth individual investors and sporting professionals.As a business owner at Accru, I have been responsible for our IT infrastructure and applications, our own financial reporting and tax obligations, as well as been our HR partner. I have also been actively involved in business acquisitions we have undertaken.
