In addition to guest amenities had plant and infrastructure for the total resort including sewerage treatment, power substations, laundries, service station and effluent systems.Ensuring the resort maximised profitable seasons to drive the bottom line with key focuses on expense management off peak. Driving Food and Beverage initatives and redeveloping historical practices ensured margin protection coupled with reinvigorated personnel.Well known for its hosting of the annual $100,000 PRO-AM (Tournament of the year QLD PGA 2009) and the Capricorn Resort Half Ironman (Licensed WTC Ironman Event). Situated on Auckland’s affluent North Shore, One Red Dog Takapuna was the local preferred destination for both dining and late night drinking.Accommodating up to 180pax with an equal split of food and beverage revenue from the 3 million NZD the operation was pitched as a stylish, retro informal destination.In the first full financial year the business had the most profitable bottom line ever experienced on less turnover than the former. Driving and motivating the team coupled with expense management and a ‘solid hands on’ approach (owner operator mentality) the business was an icon for the area.

This iconic Tex Mex Restaurant and Bar was extremely well known for its ‘spin the wheel’ drinking incentive and big portion meals. This 2.8 million NZD business provided, at the time 50% of the Hotel food and beverage revenue. The 70pax restaurant would turn seating over four times on a weekend brunch routine and generate approximately 15K NZD from beverage sales between 5pm – 9pm every Friday night. Formerly the Parkroyal Wellington, now the Crowne Plaza this was a stream lined operation that won local food awards that still remains iconic today.
