Steven Parkinson is the co-founder and chief compliance officer for Clearwater Wealth Management LLC., a Utah based investment advisory firm. He has dedicated over 30 years to developing and implementing proven processes and strategies for clients seeking to improve their portfolios and retirement programs. In addition to individual clients, he is the advisor to several company-sponsored 401(k) plans. Mr. Parkinson earned the Certified 401(k) Professional® designation from TRAU®, The Retirement Advisor University™ in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. He was among the first 75 recipients of this designation in the nation. The C(k)P designation distinguishes financial professionals who have demonstrated the knowledge and ability to positively affect the retirement outcome for participants in company retirement plans.Steven Parkinson is a graduate of Utah State University with dual degrees in Business Administration and Biology and a Master's degree in Finance. He has been a licensed financial advisor since 1987. He served as the office manager for a national broker-dealer from 2000 to 2012. In January 2012 he cofounded Clearwater Wealth Management, a registered investment company. In January 2020, Mr. Parkinson and his business partner merged their business with Iron Gate Global Wealth Management with an agreement to continue working with them until they retire. Mr. Parkinson is a tax preparer with over 20 years of experience while years participating in the IRS's Annual Filing Season Program. He also enjoys owning, flipping, and developing real estate properties. Past projects have included three subdivisions, a gravel pit, a reception and event center, and several rental properties. Mr. Parkinson and his wife Lori live in Logan Utah.
