• EmergingSoft is currently owned by the DEA Company, a leading event and meeting management firm with 2.5 million registered users in 75 countries. • Co-founded company to offer consulting services specializing in innovative client/server and Web-based applications. Clients included Wells Fargo, Xcel Energy and University of MN. • At Xcel Energy, was the data architect and project manager of a client/server application to manage meetings and order food for all conference rooms and it was with MS Outlook. Technologies: Visual Studio.NET (C#) and SQL Server. • At State of Iowa, led development of a Web application to accept fund requests online. Technologies: Visual Studio.NET (C#) and SQL Server.At Wells Fargo, led development team on rewriting one of the largest loan origination systems in the country ($1 million project). As the data architect, the data model was completely re-engineered to support old and new functionality, resulting in a data conversion that was 80% smaller and significant increase in performance. • Banta Information Services Group, USA - Provided various responsibilities, including systems analysis and design, PowerBuilder programming, database administration, enterprise data modeling using ERwin and set system standards. • The Prudential, USA - Led the development of a client/server Tax Compliance system for the Enterprise Systems Division/Financial Security Program. Technologies: PowerBuilder, SQL Server v6.5, Erwin.

• Joined at startup as the 4th employee and became its CTO. Reported directly to the CEO and later to the COO. Company had the 9th largest IPO in Minnesota history in late 1999 with a market valuation of nearly $1 billion• Led the development and data architect of a start-of-the-art client/server application to administer enrollment networks for clients like Northwest Airlines and PepsiCo. • As an early adopter of PowerBuilder company-wide, served as a technical advisor to other PowerBuilder developers. • Led a staff of programmer/analysts to support and build a Windows application for the EAP (employee assistance program) at Institute for Human Resources, a specialty company of UHC.

• Led the developments of a system for the long-term care industry that was used by 600+ nursing homes nationwide. Technologies: Borland C, Btrieve database and 3rd party framework.

This was the pre-cursor to the Internet. • In InfoWorld magazine's August 15, 1988 issue, Genesis was briefly mentioned. • Sold company to a New York company on October 8, 1990, which received tremendous attention and eventually made it on the front cover of a national magazine called BoardWatch.
