Currently working as an Estimator for AllRubber and recently in the same role for Induserve. I have twenty years' experience in the corrosion control industry, beginning my career on passenger and navy vessels before branching into industrial, mining and resources sectors. I have worked from purpose-built paint facilities, client premises and in heavy industrial environments gaining a varied experience in most aspects of the industry. I am experienced in abrasive blast, mechanical preparation of steel surfaces and have used various forms of industrial coatings including High solids, UHB, Epoxy’s and urethanes via both airless and conventional methods, working to the stringent specifications often demanded by clients in the resource industry. I have worked as a FIFO worker at Murrin Murrin operations Performed shutdown work at Woodside’s Karratha Gas Plant and also for BP Oil. My practical experience has given me a solid platform for my more recent roles as an estimator and supervisor.I am responsible for all aspects of estimation of industrial coating and rubber lining works including liaising with clients before quotation, costing all necessary materials and labor, material take-offs from engineering plans and drawings as well as being involved in the daily planning process and workshop management.I have developed a keen interest in the corrosion control and asset protection industry and always endeavor to make the best of any opportunity presented in order to further establish my skills and knowledge within my chosen career.I believe that my strong work ethic and desire to progress in this field, combined with my existing skills will ensure that I am able to make a valuable contribution to any company who grants me the opportunity of employment.
