I have enjoyed working in the public service for many years in many different roles. I am proud to have helped build and develop strong, respectful teams in numerous worksites. I have always believed that every colleague, in every level, plays an important role in an organization's success. To bring out the best in an organization you have to respect and nurture each other. While I have received awards and accolades over the years, the relationships I have developed over many years of hard work are what I will remember the most!

As the Security Advisor, I worked with the Government of Saskatchewan's Project team with the Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford – Integrated Correctional Facility to develop a preliminary design and a Project Agreement, considering all the Security aspects of integrating a mental health facility and a correctional facility on one site. My role was to work with the Project Team to review all security aspects of the design and Project Agreement so that it could proceed to procurement.

As the on-site project manager for the Surrey Pretrial Services Centre Expansion Project my duties included the planning, design, development, review and implementation of all correctional elements of this project, which was the first ever P3 project for BC Corrections. In addition to expanding the existing correctional facility, my role included overseeing the renovation of approx. 60% of existing facility, while it was operational.
