• Researching possible collaborators for social justice related research grants. • Updating online applications for grants from SSHRC and other funding organizations. • Collecting and evaluating research materials such as journal articles and information from social justice related websites.• Weekly update of software, operating systems, and virus programs on all desktop workstations and servers • Maintenance of the Social Justice and Globalization Data Archive and the Data Archive web pages. • Design and presentation of seminars in the use of NVIVO qualitative research software and Endnote referencing software to graduate students and researchers • Working with depositors and researchers who access the archive and encouraging them to deposit their research with the archive. • Troubleshooting problems students may have with technical and research related issues. • Evaluating various software and hardware that may be useful for research and writing for students using the SJG Research Lab.

Responsible for coordinating the main programs of the CSSJ in consultation with the director, administrative assistant, and relevant committees. Provided support by discovering opportunities for funding, collaborations, and partnerships with community organizations and on and off-campus researchers. As the acting Managing Editor was responsible for the on-line publishing of manuscripts once they had been accepted by the Editors. Coordinated and contributed to the maintenance of the centre’s public presence and internal profile, and of our informational resource services, and electronic and print media. Communicated with members and other interested parties about the Centre’s activities. Responsible for compiling, coordinating, writing, printing, and dissemination of semi-annual newsletter as well as creating press releases, flyers, posters, leaflets and brochures on Centre events, resources and programs.
