I worked full-time alongside our development team to test our upcoming features, bug fixes, etc. before they are release to clients. This position requires me to look at code and understand what is it we want the product to do for our clients. Through our testing we create documentation, and walkthroughs for the end-user to better understand our new and exciting upcoming releases. Responsibilities: • When testing, ensure test design is traceable to requirement and achieves a high level of requirement and test execution coverage. Continuously improve test scripts and product coverage. Complete all updates test cases, test scripts, test harnesses, test guidelines according to schedule• Execute all assigned testing, whether manual or automated, according to schedule and any productivity targets committed• Support root cause analysis exercises against target areas, propose corrective approaches for measurable improvements, track and report progress; communicate the plans and results effectively to drive change. Collect and analyze data and other findings, according to plans• Produce reports that are clear, effective, insightful, and traceable whether for defects discovered during test or non-compliance issues found during a process review or audit. Utilize existing tracking systems, report mechanisms, agreed conventions, and metrics when preparing and providing such reportsWe use software such as MTM and Visual Studio to track our Product Backlog and bugs being developed during the current sprint. Our scum teams meet daily to discuss process and any issues currently blocking us during a release cycle. During these meetings we make adjustments has needed to ensure we finish all committed work for a given sprint.

I supported 35-40 hospitals currently using our FollowMyHealth patient health portal and the Allscripts Touchworks EHR. I assist in troubleshooting portal issue such as: offline interfaces, data missing, and billing issues. I hold weekly and bi-weekly meetings with clients to discuss their expectations of the portal and current issues. Proficient in writing SQL queries (select, update, delete, and table joins) to pull needed information from clients databases. I work directly with Hospital staff including Nurses, Doctors, CIO and at times CEO’s to help them achieve current MU goals. My primary goal is to provide excellent customer service and support of our software, allowing the customer to use our product with the highest level of satisfaction. I work with our clients and development team to help test upcoming releases to ensure they are ready for production. This includes documenting any bugs I find and providing useful feedback to help ensure the code is working correctly. I have knowledge of C#, C++, Java, and HTML. I use this knowledge to help myself personally understand our code, improve my knowledge of these languages, and provide feedback when possible.

I helped support over a hundred machines out in the field. Our company does bio-metric fingerprinting and the IT department helps to maintain the equipment in the field for our customers. This includes updated equipment, sending replacement equipment, and setting up machines via remote VPN for fingerprinting. This includes troubleshooting network issues (static IP, router, etc), issues with our fingerprint scanners and camera.
