Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I served in the United States Army and after being honorably discharged, was employed by Allegheny County while attending and then graduating from the University of Pittsburgh. I attend continuing education classes on a regular basis and have obtained my CLU ( Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant ) designations. I relocated to Virginia Beach in 1981 as a newlywed and was initially employed by The Prudential as a financial representative before joining The Frieden Agency in 1982. I.
