I produced a report, working on all aspects of Talk Action’s operations - including social impact, communications including social media, managing relationships with external organisations, marketing, and future growth strategies. This included extensive research and correspondence with their wider network of connections; and I worked with the director to develop new models and approaches going forwards.My work was very well received, with many of the proposals implemented immediately.

This role required largely self-directed work, involving good organisational skills & time management as I managed the office and delivered events on a regular basis. I was also responsible for communication and marketing, and working with outside organisations on joint projects. I also successfully pushed for the expansion of this role to cover the monitoring of social impact, which lead to the director asking me to review Talk Action’s work as a whole and produce recommendations for improvement.

My role was integral to all projects at the charity: this included working and engaging with local businesses and councils to encourage sustainable practices; as well as developing and delivering the sustainability employability scheme with London job centres. I was required to monitor and summarise relevant policy developments; and conducted general administrative tasks day-to-day. I also led the redesign of the charity website (and relevant social media activity), and represented the charity at external events.
