I am responsible for ensuring Learning and Development supports improvements in performance at all levels across Capgemini Engineering in the UK and Nordics and that L & D makes a positive impact on the strategic ambitions and objectives of the business.

Responsibility for leading and managing the Learning and Development function across the UK.

My role is to strengthen connections and dialogue between employers and skills providers in the West of England to help support a more robust, relevant and responsive training and education provision base. I take a relationship management role in engaging with colleges, universities and training providers around the development of high tech training and the local Bristol and Bath cluster skills needs. Assisting businesses in workforce planning by helping to navigate the skills landscape, supporting them to develop their skills and recruitment strategies and encouraging engagement in skills and training. I also produce sector intelligence reports for the West of England Business Sectors and take oversight of sector developments particularly around the skills agenda on both a local, national and international level relating to technology issues.

Relationship Management on behalf of Jisc for key higher education (HE) professional associations. I contribute research and insight into issues and policy within higher education and skills as part of the Sector Intelligence team within Customer Experience directorate. I also worked closely to support the Jisc Futures team in the area of eLearning and student experience.

My primary role to support the professional development of programme mentors through the creation of a professional learning community of practice. Providing professional learning support and advice on e-learning and social learning pedagogy.Creation and management of the social learning platform and pedagogy and developing online professional enquiry. Providing e-learning pedagogy support to academic leads across multiple alliance partner Universities including Aberystwth, Bangor and Institute of Education.
