History: In 1981 I founded this unique large group dental practice, named Dentistry Asleep offering every aspect of dentistry primarily for patients needing or preferring to be asleep for all or part of their dentistry. The practice offers all aspects of specialty and general dentistry. The practice grew to North America's largest enterprise of its kind.In addition to my Degree in Dental Surgery I obtained a Degree in Anaesthesiology which I combined to create a unique practice. In 2012 Anaesthesiology became a certified Specialty in the Dentistry Profession and I was awarded the status of "Certified Specialist in Anaesthesiology" by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons. My active practice role was always limited to part time as I devoted increasing time to business. My role in the practice was limited to advisory services from 2014 until I fully retired from the practice in 2017.

When Newcourt was sold to CIT Group in 2000 it had become the world's largest non bank asset lender and the firm had $42 Billion in assets, offices in 26 countries and 6,000 employees.
