Senior Advisor to Regional Logistics Directorate. Oversees logistics, planning, sustainment, scheduling, production, and operations of 122 jet engines valued $431 million. Leads eight senior managers and guides 135 employees performing intermediate and operational maintenance activities on all in-service F100-PW-220 engines across the southwestern United States. Plans and priorities the acquisition of tooling and the modernization of five maintenance, test, and support facilities across the maintenance campus to raise domestic capabilities, reliability, and safety.• Established repair and overhaul strategy for poorly performing equipment that resulted in the creation of 4 strategic suppliers. Attained cost savings of $85,000 annually while significantly increasing tooling reliability.• Achieved significant operational improvements by reorganizing production stream, hiring key personnel, launch of team development program and implementing continuous-improvement practices (5S, statistical methods, process mapping, one-piece flow).• Built propulsion replacement strategy that successfully exchanged 24 high fatigued, low value engines for high value inventory.
