Previous to the transportation industry, I operated Paralegal Staffing Solutions from 1994 to 2001, a per diem legal staffing and law office support company in Columbus. Ohio, I worked with 14 attorneys in bankruptcy (Chapters 7, 11, and 13), divorce and family court, civil, criminal (misdemeanor and felony except capital), corporate, wills and estate planning. Working with recent and perspective graduates, I oversaw their work in legal research, legal writing, court filing, law office management and working with opposing counsel staff to allow for court as well as client work flow.Circumstances requiring me to be home every evening to care for my three children, I obtained my Class B endorsement in 2000 as a bottled water delivery driver. When that company was bought out I moved into construction equipment operations. Downsizing in 2011, I relocated to Upstate New York and obtained my second Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling/Criminal Justice and pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. Continuing to work as a truck driver, I obtained my Class A with tanker endorsement in 2017 after my children had grown and moved into their lives. Since obtaining my Hazmat Certification in 2019, I am looking forward to finishing my career, possibly to pursue further adult education in a Masters/PhD program.
