My current function holds full responsibility for technical and enterprise level architecture, solution design and software product end to end development covering bespoke revenue generating tools through to configuration on SaaS internal solutions at BDO UK LLP. As part of this remit I also sit on the IT board leadership team holding responsibility for all IT operations & service, strategic roadmap delivery, technical authority and budget control alongside the CIO & IT Director.The function I am responsible for support a business of over 5.5 thousand employees representing a wide range of financial services covering Tax, Audit & Advisory. We regionally support around 17 offices across the UK and offer a range of IT services covering digital transformation technical strategy development/design, innovation workshops & evaluation/delivery of technology solutions to meet the firm’s strategic goals.I have been responsible for establishing the first solution designer function and enterprise level architecture team at BDO inclusive of team set up, strategy development & operating models for an agile bi-modal delivery function. This has recently further led onto a management responsibility for technical change and operational set up of an RPA & an Automation Centre of Excellence for the UK and at a global representative level.
