About Steven Smith Pmp

Hello! I'm Steven Smith, a project engineer with a specialization in noise and vibration control, mechanical design, and project management. I enjoy tinkering with my kid's electro-plastic toys, chasing tennis balls, and climbing mountains, but not descending them.I did my original tour of project engineering experience in the compressed gas industry, where I focused on designing multi-element gas containers (MEGCs), and the requalification of Type 1 pressure vessels through non-destructive testing, to meet domestic and international standards. I enjoyed working with the welding, non-destructive, and manufacturing teams to deliver quality products and exemplary service to the compressed gas industry.My acoustic emission, non-destructive testing, experience in the requalification of pressure vessels sparked an interest in acoustics and ultimately let to a new role in the noise and vibration control industry. In my current position, I enjoy delivering noise-controlled environments for schools, hospitals, businesses, public spaces, and data centers, through acoustic and mechanical engineering of noise control systems.
