Installed new registration systems, replaced mechanical PIV’s with servos, replaced drive trains and revamped gluing system including all controllers, pumps and applicator nozzles. Results: Improved uptime by 10%, reduced waste by 10% and increased operating speed by 20%.· Led team to address problem of slitter dust on developmental grades of cigarette paper.
