As a Senior Service Desk Technician at NTT Global Data Centers, our information technology team leverages my expertise in IT systems to deliver, repair and maintain robust digital solutions. Previously, I was tier III service desk support at Dallas Area Rapid Transit. With a deep-seated passion for technology, I have become adept at addressing complex technical challenges and ensuring seamless operations for large organizations.I’m certified in CompTIA A+ and Network+, and am working toward additional certifications to pursue IT network and security opportunities. Also, I have more than 15 years of experience with a home lab, experimenting with various technologies, such as web servers (Apache and Nginx), file servers (Samba) and SQL, on both linux and windows servers.Prior to my role in IT support, I served as a rail central support mechanic and also as a signal maintainer for DART. I have an extensive background as a mechanic with experience in building, repairing and operating both public and private train systems, including electrical, diesel and steam engines.In addition to my role at DART, I currently manage the entire inventory of equipment at the Museum of the American Railroad as their Chief Mechanical Officer since 2018, and have served as a volunteer mechanic with the museum for more than 12 years. The interesting and challenging work that comes with maintaining historical trains, some more than 100 years old, has provided me with a high level of real-world knowledge and applications.Through my commitment to both mechanical and technical operations, I have exhibited a high level of problem solving and a diverse skillset that underpins my ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments.
