I graduated from Southern Utah University with a B.S. Degree in Construction Management and a minor in CAD design. Before and during college I worked for a general contractor who did some custom home construction but focused most of its attention on solar installation on cabins up to small commercial projects where I drew layouts and wiring diagrams in CAD and helped worked on the field installations. We also focused our attention on Solar Tracker design and manufacturing. During this period I learned multiple construction disciplines, design, and manufacturing. Then I went to work for a switchgear manufacturing company where I learned how to do control wiring, project design, and management, which included electrical design drafting, creating BOM's and managing the production and shipping stages of the project as well as customer service throughout. I worked for a large startup copper mine in Utah where I learned all operator positions in the mill including the control room, and heavy equipment, and was given the opportunity to be the project expeditor for the SX/EW copper leach plant construction project which transitioned into assistant maintenance planner after the project was completed and commissioned. My most recent experience has been operating and maintainig utility-scale solar projects for SOLV Energy. This job incorporates troubleshooting AC, DC and control circuits, mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting, substation maintenance and troubleshooting, and working on network and communications systems. As an assistant regional lead I provide support for our field team, provide reports, information and support to our clients.Specialties: Medium voltage switchgear design, manufacturing and management. I also have a general knowledge in all construction fields, solar power and other alternative power systems, CAD/CAM programs including: AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Solid Works and AutoDesk Civil 3D; MS Office and Corel Word all versions; SureTrak Scheduling; Quick Books.
