Hands on management position with 11 direct report employees, with responsibilities in sales and the customer loyalty building for a full service truck stop, including fuel, truck parts, retail operations, gas station, weight scales, motel, showers, laundry facilities and video poker. Key leadership team member responsible for full P&L facility with multi-million annual revenue (moving 600,000 gallons of fuel a month), with a franchise fee of $750k. Staffing & hiring, training/cross-training of direct reports and full travel center staff of up to 100 headcount, including back up leadership in General Manager’s absence and developing a team culture. Inventory and purchasing for retail store and ordering all fuel. Scheduling equipment and facility repairs, and providing onsite safety inspections - ensuring safety corrections were priority to ensuring the safety of both customers and employee base. Provide excellent customer and client relations at all times, resolving customer complaints to satisfaction. OVERSEEING SPECIAL PROJECTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:- Replacing of storage facility, researching future needs and contractors, coordinated installation and disposable of old facility.- Heavily involved in new fuel island/pump installation, ensuring project timeline, staying in budget and ensuring proper installation, minimizing any service interruption or profit loss.
