I am a full member of CIEEM and the Arboricultural Association with extensive experience in the provision of ecological and arboricultural surveys, site assessments, technical advice, project management, planning and delivery, team management and tendering; to a range of local, national and multi-national commercial clients. Projects undertaken range from small-scale housing/industrial developments to regional road schemes, solar farms, quarry extensions and large-scale housing/retail/industrial developments.I am competent in a range of protected species surveys and assessments and currently hold survey licences for great crested newts and bats, as well as EPS mitigation licences for bats and great crested newts (and derogation licences for badgers). I am also a competent Phase 1/UK Habitats botanical surveyor. I also undertake BS 5837 tree surveys, produce Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Method Statements, Tree Protection Plans and Tree Condition and Safety Inspections and I am competent in providing technical arboricultural advice to Design Teams and Construction Managers throughout each development stage. I have extensive experience of designing and managing site based ecological mitigation works such as the translocation of protected species under Natural England mitigation licences, habitat creation and Ecological Clerk of Works for major construction sites. This includes the procurement and management of contractors to undertake these works. My report writing is to a high scientific and technical standard and I have extensive experience of producing PEA's, Ecological Assessments, Ecology Chapters for EIA's, Management Plans, Arboricultural Reports and Protected Species Method Statements.
