I am a public health professional with 5+ years of experience in health promotion, HIV prevention, project management, and community-based research and analysis. I am passionate about empowering community members and collaboratively working to ensure equitable access to health and social services. Through my work I have supported the design, implementation, evaluation, and scale-up of innovative and community-led public health programs in both Canada and South Africa. I have expanded HIV testing, prevention, and treatment programs; combatted stigma through provincial media campaigns; and forged connections with incredible people. I received my Bachelors of Art degree in International Relations from the University of Rochester in 2016, with a focus on international diplomacy and civil and social equity. I received my Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Toronto in 2021, with a focus on health promotion, public health policy, and human rights. I have learned a great deal both in and out of a classroom setting, and I look forward to continue learning in my public health career.
