My career history has consistently followed a single thread - providing and training to create a great guest experience that leads to positive sales and profitability growth. I have worked with retail organizations like Books A Million where I have consistently strives to provide exceptional service, and have worked in a managerial capacity to train my team to focus on providing the same level of customer engagement and satisfaction. While working in the car industry, the same skill set is heavily relied upon. While car sales sometimes comes down to a negotiation on price, what we do that leads into that negotiation dramatically effects its outcome and ultimate profitability. Providing guests with uncompromisingly great experiences leads to exceptional result in those price negotiations. In addition to this, it leads to repeat or return clients and referral business - the meat and potatoes for industry professionals as self generated leads from your current book of business close at a significantly higher rate than paid leads through other sources. I am proud of what I have accomplished over the course of my career. With Books A Million, that has been consistent positive growth or sales and profitability for my individual store. Within the car industry I consistently met or exceeded my sales targets, while maintaining a closing rate for in showroom visits at or above the industry average. Additionally, I achieved the Chevrolet Mark of Excellent 2 consecutive years - which require meeting chevrolet New Car Sales Target, On Star Activation Targets, and maintaining superior customer survey scores on Chevrolet’s after purchase customer survey. My career has had successful, positive customer and guest service woven into its fabric, and I have taken that across multiple industry segments showing that dynamic customer experience driven actions lead to success.
