Job Description: Software development within the data integration group (feeds). Performing development of new feeds, maintenance of existing feeds and supporting the on-boarding of new client to the e-commerce platform.Responsibilities/Achievements: Design, development, and support for the marketplace integration product for the latest e-commerce platform. Covering the product catalogue feeds from the e-commerce platform to the market places, allowing for the sale of clients merchandise on external marketplaces. Developed a comprehensive system setup worksheet to support the client launch team in connecting a client to the marketplace product. Also wrote system documentation for the product. Liaising with the marketplaces services team to determine scope and requirements for the feed. Designed and developed a single inventory feed system that supports multiple target formats, greatly reducing the overhead to support a new clients format requirements. Designed and created two generations of product image ingestion feeds. Taking from initial system architecture, through code developments and testing to production set up and deployment. Using multiple technologies to provide near-real time processing of the images. Reducing the time to stand up a clients image feed by 70%. Considered a knowledge expert for various feeds within GSI/eBay Enterprise.
