Got into the North Texas real estate market 15 years ago when buying my first property in the Dallas area. However, it was about 5 years ago, after becoming an investor and active landlord, when I realized that real estate professionals can offer so much more than the norm. So, I decided to get my own real estate license with the aim of making real estate transactions more transparent, efficient and productive for everyone I work with....How? By doing things that add value, for example: • Use market knowledge to explore contracts & different options available (Vs. just how much will you pay & sign here) • Data analysis that enables decision making (i.e. beyond just 'price per sq. foot') • Actually drive the negotiation (not just act as a conduit between the parties) • Dynamic use of checklists to compare properties (Vs. just winging it)Prior to entering the world of real estate, I spent 25 years working and studying in the semiconductor industry as an electrical engineer and technical marketing. During this period I learnt not only how to communicate with customers from different parts of the world, but also that ALL customers highly value a partner who is knowledgeable and provides solutions that enables a customer to achieve their goals. On the education front, I have earned:• An MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas• An Electrical Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma• Several real estate related designations & certifications such as: GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute), RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor), ePRO (Advanced Digital Marketing), NHC (New Home Construction), SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource)
