The Reproductive Biology and Gynaecological Oncology Group's (RBGO) research focuses on Infertility, and Gynaecological cancer. We use cell, molecular, and nanobiology approaches to investigate the underlying causes of Ovarian and Endometrial cancer, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Endometriosis, and Unexplained Infertility (where the cause appears to be endometrial dysfunction). The RBGO group is led by Principle Investigators, Prof Steve Conlan, Prof Deya Gonzalez, Prof Lewis Francis, Consultant Clinician Prof Lavinia Margarit, postdoctoral, technical, postgraduate, medical and undergraduate researchers. The RBGO works in partnership with clinicians and biomedical scientists in the Swansea Bay and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Boards. Together we aim to contribute to advances in womens health.

With the global benefits of nanomedicine growing each year, the British Society for Nanomedicine's mission is to allow open access for industry, academia, clinicians and the public to news and details of ongoing research throughout the UK.Our activities include an annual UK Early Career Resesearchers Meeting, and representation of the UK in European nanomedicine platforms.
