In September 2022, my company PLANTZ merged its operations with Texas-based Natura, expanding Natura's base in Florida. My role is positioning the company for additional acquisitions and includes management of the Florida team and business development. The company is celebrating its 40th anniversary and provides plants to offices, hotels & business spaces.

In 2016, I was called on to provide testimony in a Pasco County case where a homeowner’s association took issue with a homeowner’s lawn that did not conform to the association’s standards. I worked with the association’s counsel and offered reports and in-court testimony on the turfgrass and plant material that was non-conforming. The association.

Vice President and General Manager, ComCept Solutions, LLC; St Petersburg, Florida; Managed all aspects of the company during a year-long relocation from its North Carolina headquarters – personnel, sales, marketing, customer support, and software/platform implementations. During this period, the company redeveloped its distribution management software.

Responsible for leading the national sales effort through regional sales representatives; establishing and executing marketing programs including direct selling, direct mail, trade exposition, advertising, and Internet presence; developing the automated sales reporting system; and developing the company’s Customer Satisfaction Rating system.

Responsible for establishing new management and maintenance agreements; managing multiple revenue centers including coordinating all marketing, merchandising, food and beverage, and maintenance activities; managing client staff; rendering feasibility and management studies for proposed and existing golf course facilities; establishing staff (PEO) leasing.

Responsible for developing new business; project cost estimating; and establishing new maintenance service contracts. Also developed marketing programs, managed multiple golf course maintenance contracts, and developed a performance-based incentive program for managers.Initially served as Project Manager - Grand Cypress Resort, OneSource Landscape.
