Responsible for maintenance system designs within the boundaries of current or future products, reuse of common systems engineering practices across multiple product areas and ensure Design Assurance Levels are met according to defined processes.Develop system requirements and design for Diagnostic Reasoning, Maintenance, Tooling and Maintenance Utility functions. Develop system models for a variety of maintenance system participants within existing model-based constraints utilizing a deep domain knowledge of aircraft level systems integration. Analysis and verification of diagnostics data, and reporting for onboard and offboard vehicle maintenance systems. Provide technical contributions on a variety of projects and programs simultaneously. Work with a multi-site international work force in the development of maintenance software and models. Assess functionality, performance and outputs of developed applications and work with development teams to resolve defects. Work with customers to assess reported difficulties with onboard maintenance systems and create change requests for resolution.
