I specialize in cardiac and neuronal electrophysiology for toxicity, drug discovery, and disease modeling.I have spent my career developing new in vitro cell-based models while serving a dual role of hands-on R&D and one-on-one customer support. Through this experience I have learned diverse techniques to help navigate the challenges of drug development and disease research. Whether it is studying the pathogenesis of new disease models made possible by the rise of stem cell technology, or keeping ahead of the drug safety demands of an evolving regulatory environment; I bring my experience and expertise to the customer to ensure their success bringing these new assays in-house. My areas of expertise include: sales support (public speaking, training, internal and external collaborations, technical support); scientific (cardiobiology, neurobiology, ion channel pharmacology, stem cell technology, cell culture); technology (multi-electrode array systems, patch-clamp electrophysiology, impedance-based systems, high content imaging).
