When employed with Cigna, I partnered with other developers on a large Agile team across different organizations to implement Touch ID/Face ID login system within the myCigna iOS mobile app. I spearheaded a team who developed a Google Cardboard and Samsung VR application in Unity, which was a virtual reality tour of the company’s campus. I presented and educated consumers about the VR app at the Samsung Developer Conference in San Francisco. I configured and published an iOS app for Cigna’s Global Fitness Challenge used by thousands of employees. This app can be purchased currently by other users in the iOS app store. I collaborated in the development of a women’s health Android app performing architectural and security designs. I implemented a secure SQL database within the app. I reviewed and approved for use in accessing private health information. I championed the success of new developers and interns training them on best practices and reviewing performance, and I visited job and college fairs presenting the company in an effort to attract new developers for employment.

During my internship with Cigna, I designed an Apple Watch app prototype to track Heart Arrhythmias. I prototyped new features in existing myCigna app for leadership team demonstrations, and I developed an Objective-C framework for the firm used to enable biometric authentication methods in iOS apps.
