Enercon Canada Inc, an OEM and an MRO my procurement team is multi functional and our responsibilities encompass new builds as well as Service repairs and preventive maintenance. Involved with all departments at Enercon including Materials Management, Logistics, Accounting, Project management and Planning, our tight knit family works together to get the job done. I have also lead projects involving Property management, inventory surpluses and supplier agreements to our benefit.

Niagara Electric was an assembly plant for electrical cabinets and my responsibility was to obtain local (North American) supply for parts that were being imported from Europe. At the time, this included everything from C-Parts to Machined electrical components. I worked with engineering drawings from Germany and rose to the challenge of providing translated versions to local machine and sheet metal shops. I also coordinated and obtained additional warehouse space, and the logistics there-of when our production exceeded the storage space of our building.

Global Vintners produces consumer made wine kits under several brands and I was responsible for the production requirements in both Ontario and British Colombia plants. My responsibilities included purchasing, procurement and planning of printed material (boxes and instruction cards), chemicals, additives and packaging. Working closely with the Production Planner and the Wine Maker I coordinated the logistics of time sensitive materials (expiry dates) to the two plants as well as with the Warehouse Manager managed stock levels of critical items to ensure smooth production runs.

This MRO facility specialized in repair and overhaul of Auxiliary Power Units for commercial and military aircraft.
