Born and raised in the Mitten. I'm so very humble and grateful to have come from where I have.Life really started at 13 when my father passed away. The event shaped me and strengthened me to who I am and it will continue to. Every proud achievement I owe to Jesus Christ and to my parents for always believing in and expressing their pride in me.I guess I got into the news business earlier than most. As a young teen, I decided to pick up a paper route as my first job. Now, I'm in search of another job in the business.I want to report -- preferably sports stories -- but I feel my writing skills can be applied in other areas too. A huge thing for me is transparency, so I love it when I get news that's telling me all the good details to know. I want to create that coverage. I want to give back to serve people (committed readers, casual viewers, advertisers, whomever reads) because I know I am not the lone person who enjoys quality, complete coverage.Naysayers could point to my youth and see inexperience, but those who believe in me know I can do amazing work. I am an empty bucket waiting to be filled. I believe in myself, and look forward to seeing the kind of work I do when given the opportunity.
